With the increasingly fierce market competition, Thinking from a certain degreeproductcompetitionis actually the competition of time and speed. Companies to win the customer must first try to shorten product delivery time, fast to meet customer requirements. The object of the thesis is Single and small batch Enterprise. The products they make are Complex products with a long Production cycle, so these companies need to shorten product delivery. Due to the production cycle of such products represents a major component of the product delivery, it is a good choice to shorten the production cycle of the products. So far, existing many ways to achieve the purpose of shorten production cycle is by reasonable arrangements for the sequence of processes. Because the shortage of resources in the production process of these firms often occur, reasonable arrangements for the sequence of processes and the use of resources is very important to shorten the duration of the production. This method of shortening product cycle by reasonable arrangements for the sequence of processes can not shorten the time indefinitely; it is hedged around with processes time. This thesis proposes a another method which Splits large processes into smaller processes and then reschedule the processes, and on this basis, we build a multi-order model. In the end, we test this method on a case from a mold manufacturer by Genetic Algorithms, and the simulation results show that this method can help this manufacturer to shorten its product cycle.
