| Since the 21st century, the electronic information industry of the world has been developing rapidly, which has become the driving force of the global economy and the basic industries to enhance the overall national strength. In this context, our government has strengthened the support for the development of electronic information industry so as to achieve its leapfrog development and increase the proportion in the national economy. As a less developed regions of Guangxi, It is especially important to develop the electronic information industry and promote the optimization of industrial structure. In 2010, The government of Guangxi announced "The decision to bigger and stronger the industry of Guangxi", which clearly focuses on the development of electronic information industry as a priority in one of fourteen Billion dollar industry.In this paper, firstly, the author has introduced the development characteristics of the electronic information industry in the world. Then the author analyzed the current situation and the technologic development environment of the electronic information industry in Guangxi, which is compared the development of electronic information industry in Guangdong that is very successful in China, and then found the problems in Guangxi so as to propose the strategic concept of electronic information industry development in Guangxi.There is some innovation in the paper. First, the author has showed the development status, characteristics and the trend of technological development of electronic information industry in the world by using the detailed data and charts. Second, the author has analyzed economic performance, structural characteristics and industrial distribution of electronic information industry in Guangxi, Third, the author has made a national comparative analysis for technological development of electronic information industry in Guangxi by the combination of AHP and empirical analysis, and then put forward the technology development strategy. |
