The gap between supply and demand of petroleum is more and more big. since 1993, our China turned into the petroleum net-import country from a petroleum net-export country, The quantity of petroleum import increasingly grows year by year. At present, the left proving recoverable petroleum resources in china is insufficient,the gap between supply and demand increasingly grows, these problems have been one of projecting problems which restrain Chinese economic sustainable development. The purpose of ensuring petroleum resources'supply security is for ensuring national economy continuous, stable, healthy development.therefore, how to ensure petroleum's supply security is the essay's research point.This essay is on the base of strategy studies of petroleum import trade, and from the view of globalization, quotes the data to specially investigate Chinese petroleum resources quantity,the production and demand situation and the trade situation, moreover, this paper scientifically forecasts Chinese future petroleum demand by using math-model and gets one conclusion:China is facing a domestic trend that the gap between petroleum supply and demand increasingly enlarges but the petroleum supply remains growth slowly. However, as we all know, in mordern world,international petroleum market fiercely competes, the participators crazy for the resourses of petroleum.Our country is facing that outside energy environment,therefore, only scientifically formulate and carry out energy security strategies and international petroleum cooperation strategies and measures promoting the petroleum trade can we ensure Chinese petroleum security. This paper analyzes the main problems in the Chinese petroleum security aspect and in the Chinese petroleum trade aspect in details,then it put forward the effective trade strategies to ensure Chinese petroleum security, and raises some effective measures in order to ensure our Chinese petroleum's continuous and stable supply and provide effective policy and suggestions for national relevant departments from the perspective of how to effectively use international trade methods.
