The Application Of Citistate Theory In China's Regional Economic Management System

With the gradual deepening of globalization, the world seems to form a complex network system. The network system includes capital networks, financial networks, information networks, technology networks, transportation networks, etc. Regional cities and countries have become an important node on the network system. Globalization is reshaping every aspect of the society. Urban systems and urban structure has also been globally reconstructed and recycled. The city has gone beyond national boundaries and into the global division of labor all over the world. At this time management system on the regional economy needs to match the current world economic situation. Because of this, the management system of regional economic research has become an important content for international and regional economic study. After the reforms, China has experienced a management system reform from City counties to Provinces County. But both of the management systems have been unable to meet the globalization needs of economic development in urban areas, and there have been many drawbacks. So there is an urgent of the reform and further deepening of management system. This article draws on regional economic development of Western ideas, Citistate theory, to build a regional economic management system which is suitable for China.With the urbanization in modern world, there emerged a large number of theories about urban economic. These theories mainly discussed from the following four aspects:the first aspect is the metropolitan area of research. The study of the metropolitan area has the following theory:Concentric structure, sector structure theory, growth pole theory, and the core-periphery theory, etc.; the second aspect is the study of urban systems. The study of the urban system and the absurd with Christaller's Central Place Theory, point one axis gradual diffusion theory, network theory, etc.; the third aspect is the study of megalopolis. For example Gottmann's research of Megalopolis; the fourth area is the metropolitan. Generation of urban theory, there are three main areas of theory and so on. Though these theories once played a great guiding function to the urbanization development of the world, but because of the fast development of the modern traffic technology, information technology and material technology, and with the push of economic globalization and integration of regional economics, the deep change has taken place in external environment of the development of the regional economic space, and such brand-new form of global urban economic region appears, and it needs to look for the new theoretical direction urgently. Citistate theory arises at the historic moment, which launches describing around the tactics question of regional development of urban economy under the globalization background mainly. Its basic- thought has the great meaning of drawing lessons for building the urban economic region of our country.This content is divided into six parts:the first is the introduction, which gives out the background of this study, the meaning of the research, the method and content of the article, and the framework of the research; the second part is the theoretical overview, summarized domestic and international research on urban economic zone status; the third part is the analysis of the administrative region of China since the founding of the evolution of the economic system; the fourth part focuses on regional economic management system and reviewed a new perspective-citistate theory; the fifth part is based on the citistate theory, analysis the main problems of China's urban economic regional development and explore China's urban development strategy; the sixth part of the conclusion, summarize the contents of this study and look forward to this place yet to be studied in depth.
