Abstract/Summary:
"A seed can change the world." The seed is the core of agricultural production, and the seed industry relates to the national food security and stability. The seed industry of China is very large, but it is not strong. Along with the continuous reform and development of the national economy and society, China's seed industry totally has broken fence in the planning economic system and entered into a comprehensive development and competitive era. How to face oppression from the global seed industry, how to face the embarrassment that our farmer become from "no choice" to "difficult choice" because the quantities of choice increase, how to make the enterprise success and not to be eliminated so that the enterprise can achieve much progress. Those problems have gradually become our research subject.This paper uses the induce deduction, comparative analysis and interpretation etc research methods. Firstly, expounds the origin, development and performance of the positioning. Secondly, reviews the history of China's seed industry and summaries the present situation of China's seed industry. Thirdly, the paper key systematically analyses and summaries the pioneer international seed in which how to differently position on product, price, place and service. Meanwhile, through the comparison of the domestic first seed enterprise, finds out the lack that our seed enterprises is in positioning strategy, and introduces LiFei market positioning diamond figure. It will tell us a very successful positioning strategy path. Finally, according to the kinds of disadvantages on China's seed industry, the author put forward my own suggestions and advices and advocate that facing the China seed industry market which highly decentralizes and tends to the white-hot competition. China's seed enterprises must differently position on product, price, place and service in order to continuously achieve success, and enterprise can obtain differentiations between with other competitors and win the consumer.
