Low-carbon Economy, China's Economic Growth Pattern Under Study

Since the Reform and opening up for 30 years, economy of China has been growing rapidly. Due to the extensive economic growth mode , the growth of economic is constrained by resources and environment more and more during three decades of reform and opening high-speed economic growth. Therefore, the transformation of economic growth has become a very urgent problem, and how to change the way of economic growth has become an important approach in the stage of low-carbon economy. On the basis of the theory, this paper analysed the relationship between carbon emissions and economic growth of China in the way of econometric methods. the structure shows that technological progress and industrial upgrading will not only help change the way of economic growth, but alsoconducive to achieving carbon emission reduction. Therefore, accelerating technological progress and upgrading the industrial structure is an important way to translate the mode of economic growth under the carbon emission reductions.
