Research On Social Responsibility Of State-Owned Enterprises

To the scope of the world, with the government's macro-control of the market getting stronger, the personal legislation coming back to the social legislation, it comes to a common thing that the corporations carry social responsibility besides the operating responsibility in country with legality or marketing economy. Being terminated by the nation's nature, our marketing economy cannot be a pure free system. Value the development of the whole society and keep the balance of the society are China's current plan and target. Therefore, making profit is not the only purpose of the corporations running in the Chinese marketing economy since it has to be examined with the point of view of the entire social development. Thus, the corporations must take other responsibilities rather than operation's. And also because of the situation of China, the state owned enterprises always act as the leading role in the national economy. As a result, the issue of the state owned enterprises'responsibility has become the core problem of the whole society. Good solving or not has related to the true establishment of the modern enterprise policy and harmonious progress of the marketing economy. Being limited by different aspects, there are couple problems during the social responsibilities carrying of the state owned enterprises. First of all, with the influence of the old theory and old system from the past planned economy, artificial, contingency, non-institutional, non-procedural, moral phenomena of the social responsibility in the state-owned enterprise still widespread. Secondly, because of the characteristic of the state owned enterprises, they are carrying some social works which are supposed to be taken care of by the government, the burden of the state owned enterprises is too heavy to carry. These things more or less infect the efficiency and development of those enterprises. It is quite meaningful and valuable to study this issue in order to build up a suitable, reasonable, judicial and efficient policy and system due to the state owned enterprises'responsibility. And the key point is to renew the rules and to rebuild the environment.
