Since 1980's in the 20th century, the intermediary service of the western developed countries has been developed unprecedentedly. Nowadays, the intermediary service has been turned into one of the three supporting businesses for modern commercial banks.Financial off-media and marketization of interest rate are the irresistible trends in the financial market development. If the banks are still running in the traditional way, they can not continuously supply the income, profit and the satisfied marginal contribution ratio under the dual pressure of "capital off-media and technology off-media". To raise revenue, a new way of running must be initiated for the commercial banks. Especially, the traditional business of the commercial banks in China has been essentially frustrated due to the marketization of the interest rate. With the dual challenge of the marketization of interest rate and the financial off-media, the traditional mode of profit-making of the banks is not sustainable.Under the background of ceaselessly deepening reformation of the financial system and overall opening-up the bank service, the domestic-funded banks and the foreign-funded banks are generally involved in the cut-throat competition. Therefore, a serious problem has to be faced and studied, that is, how the commercial banks should innovate new products of intermediary business, in order to strengthen the ability of the banks'own profit, and enhance the core-competitiveness according to the financial requirements of markets and clients.Recently, in China, the intermediary service among the commercial banks is under rapid development; the strategic gradient has been strengthened, the service sorts increased, the business was incremental, the income rate largely upgraded, and the service level enhanced progressively. However, there are still some problems in the course of the development of the intermediary service. On one hand, the problems such as the lower contribution, the less service sorts, not enough innovation, the serious product homogeneity, the lower technology contents, the irrational development and competition, risk prevention shortage and less high quality talents do exist. On the other hand, the commercial banks are facing opportunities of the growth of the private wealth, the changes of diversified requirements from the clients, the changes of consumption habits, the development of network economy and Europe, America and Japan suffering systemic crisis. In order to solve the existing problems of the intermediary service, the commercial banks has to seize the opportunities to develop the intermediary service, and the inevitable choice for the commercial banks is to adhere to customer-oriented developing direction.When the banks develop the intermediary service, they should be market oriented and identify the hottest market with a broad perspective, in particular, to strengthen the cooperation with the emerging industries and the monopoly industries. For the banks, the hospitals are not only the large superior quality clients but the potential large clients'base of the hospital medical patients as well, which gestates huge financial requirement. Hospitals, especially the large general hospitals, which have not only medical resource monopoly but also an acyclic industry, for many years, the financial requirements of the hospitals are steadily increasing at a high speed, and the future growing potentiality is immense. Therefore, for banks, how to excavate the potential financial requirements of the "clients base of the hospital", win over the loyalty of the clients, extend the intermediary business and reduce the management risk contains strategic significance.This paper adheres to customer-oriented, specially discussing and analyzing the large general hospitals, which are the large superior quality clients to the banks, and further on analyzing the financial requirement in the hospital fields. This paper firstly introduced and presented a newly financial product which was designed based on the requirement of the hospital----"Passcard Between Bank and Hospital Accounts". Still, this paper introduced the function and the systematic design of the product, through analyzing, then a conclusion was made, i.e. the product of "Passcard Between Bank and Hospital Accounts" is a product which can make a win-win situation for hospitals, patients, governments and banks. Meanwhile, through analysis, in this paper, five suggestions about the product needing to further improvement and enhancement are put forward: 1. In order to reduce the medical links, "The Electronic Purse" function should be introduced.2. The mobile phone to bank registration and payment channel and the short message service(SMS) reminder should be increased.3. The "Passcard Between Bank and Hospital Accounts" should replace the "Social Insurance Card" to supply the social insurance payment service.4. The payment service of hospitalization costs should be increased.5. The product of "Passcard Between Bank and Hospital Accounts" should be popularized in the whole country. After comparing and analyzing the advantages between the two products of "Passcard for Outpatient Service Accounts" and "Passcard for Social Insurance Accounts" which will be planned to impel by the nation in the future, the conclusion is that the "Passcard for Outpatient Service Accounts" will finally be replaced by the "Passcard Between Bank and Hospital Accounts". The "Passcard Between Bank and Hospital Accounts" and the "Passcard of Social Insurance Accounts" will coexist in the future.
