The Research Of The Basic Research Ex-Penditure's Structure In China

With the coming of the knowledge economy era, science and tech-nology has become the representative of the advanced productivity. Countries in the world are aware of the need to rely on advanced science and technology, especially cutting-edge technology to promote sustainable economic and social development. In this context, countries have begun to invest basic research heavily. They increase funding for basic research. And the investment intensity is also growing. Funding for basic research in China has been showing a trend of exponential growth in recent years. 1 lowever, there have been some problems in this process, such as low in-vestment intensity and unreasonable funding structure.For these problems, this paper studies the structure of basic research expenditure in China. Firstly, the paper collates and compares the domes-tic and international reference theoretical and academic point of view and ideas on basic research. And the paper invests and studies the structure of basic research expenditure in typical countries abroad. On the basis of a lot of data and policy research, the structure of funding for basic research is divided into the source structure, the intensity structure, the consump-tion structure and the implementation structure. And the paper uses entro-py measure method, grey relational degree comparative analysis method, document analysis method, numeric and nonnumeric methods, theory and practice methods to study the structure of basic research expenditure in China.On the basis of the study structure of basic research expenditure in China, the paper draws the corresponding conclusions and makes policy recommendations and suggestions for structure of basic research expendi-ture in China.
