Since 1970's of the 20th century, H. Freudenberger from America put forward the concept of burnout, that tired many scholars at home and abroad doing a lot of research and exploration. While such exploration and study have opened up new ideas for our human resources management and definitely promote its development. In turn, it has important practical significance and plays an important role in strengthening organization and to enhance its core competence.Meanwhile, the development of IT industry in China has become the main power of national economic growth. Differ from the traditional manufacturing, R&D costs takes up the most specific gravity. Thus software engineer becomes the most important intelligence capital among the industry. Whereas, researches on the job burnout are mainly focused on service industry and management personnel while losing sight of the concern for software engineer. Therefore, on the basis of the existing research findings on job burnout, this paper attempts to find out factors of job burnout on software engineers. Expecting to enhance our selection, configuration and core talents training on software engineers and to provide basis for the scientific and objectivity of vocational development and make some contribution to enrich theoretical and empirical research for the study of job burnout.Firstly, this paper selects software engineers from China as the research object. By literature retrieval and analysis, questionnaire, interview and other channels to collect entries and by surveying more than 400 people from large and medium-sized cities which software engineers are concentrated in to form a questionnaire. Secondly, through statistical analysis by using social science software SPSS and AMOS to construct a model of influencing factors on job burnout of our software engineers. By research of each influencing factors and from three dimensions to analyze how they can influence on the job burnout. Again, through analysis of variance found out that there exists significant differences in job burnout in the aspects of sex, marital status and work experience. Finally take Neusoft Group software engineer as the case study of job burnout to analyze and find out main influence factors of job burnout on software engineers and put forward the corresponding management measures. With enterprises who owns a large software engineers can use the conclusion of this paper and gain support from it for enterprise human resources on works like recruitment and selection, training and development, performance evaluation and comprehensive quality evaluation, compensation management, career management and so on.
