| Confronted with many risks, China's textile and apparel industry is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading after the financial crisis. How to integrate each node enterprises of industry, deal with the risk from the standpoint of whole supply chain, and form a scientific and effective risk management mechanism, which is a very important and urgent fundamental problem to support the holistic transformation and upgrading of China's apparel industry. So, it is necessary to research on the identification, evaluation and decision-making model of apparel industry risk all-directional and creatively from the perspective of apparel supply chain. And the ultimate goal is to establish a comprehensive risk analysis and evaluation framework and its management mode of apparel supply chain. From the perspective of apparel manufacturers, a relatively in-depth study of the risk of apparel supply chain has been done; so the main innovations are as follows:(1) Experts'opinions were collected through the two-stage Delphi Method; and the hierarchy of evaluation indexes were obtained by Xploratory Factor Analysis. Then the indexes'reliability and validit were analyzed. Finaly, the hierarchical structure of evaluation factors of supply chain risk has been put forward, which contained 4 first-grade indexes and 18 second-grade indexes.(2) Using AHP, the influencing degree of apparel supply chain risk was evaluated aiming at category and sources of risks. Then all hierarchical weights of risk indexes were proposed; also the risk evaluation system of apparel supply chain was constructed, of which the most serious risk of first-grade indexes was suppliers-cooperation risk, and the most serious risks of second-grade indexe in the top 5 were procurement quality risk, quality risk, procurement price risk, supplier delivery risk and economic fluctuation risk.(3) Based on the utility function and the theory of Markowitz risk price, the evaluation system of apparel supply chain was applied to make up empirical analysis of the supply chain risk status of a apparel manufacturer. The results showed that the risk evaluation system could be used to identify and evaluate the risk of this manufacturer. It also could be discovered that using the Markowitz price to quantify the amount of evaluation results was more consistent with intuitive feelings, and the method combined with utility theory truly reflected the decision-makers'behavior and risk preference, which could be used as reference input costs of risk management by manufacturer.(4) A decision-making model of apparel suppliers and processing plants optimization was built. With the constraints of minimum number of suppliers and their processing plants, the model was used to solve the suppliers and processing plants choice problem, and distribute weights among them. The objective was to minimize the total costs and portfolio risks of the chosen suppliers and their processing plants, and maximize the utility of decision-making problem of choosing suppliers and processing plants for apparel manufacturer. The distribution mechanism of apparel supply chain risk was established by using Shapley value. Further more, two innovative distribution mechanisms were proposed which based on different visual angles of average distribution and priority to efficiency.This paper conducted the risk evaluation problem of apparel manufacturers from the perspective of supply chain, and the quantitative mode of suppliers, processing plants risk decision-making and risk distribution problem. The conclusions could help to improve the operation efficiency of apparel supply chain; and some suggestions are presented on the study of improving the level of enterprise risk management. This paper proposed some preliminary theories and foundation methods for the research on risk management of apparel supply chain, that had contributed to the future research. |
