Study On The Level Of Social Development In The Central Region Of China

This paper use domestic and foreign comprehensive evaluation index system of social development, according to the facts of central region, operability of index and availability of data, to get central region's comprehensive evaluation index system of social development. This article made an empirical research of cities'social development in the central region and analyzed the change process of social development in the central region. At last, it compared the change of GDP per capita and social development in the central region, proposed solutions and proposal to the social development in the central region. The purpose is getting the current situation of social development; the relationship between GDP per capita and social development in the central region, to provide a theoretical basis for promoting social development in the central region.The conclusion of this paper:the level of social development in the central region is not high but increased and not balanced.There are major differences between Capital cities and non-capital cities. The four areas of Social development:social undertakings, economic base, the environment, living standards,are out of balance.Cities in the central regions should give full play to their advantages with meeting the shortfall so that all aspects have been developed to improve the overall level of social development.
