Recently,Jiangxi province's energy gap of is increased gradually, and its economic development is inferior to the east region, but its heavy responsibility of protecting the clean water of Poyang Lake. So low carbon economy is an important strategic choice for Jiangxi province to realize the Green Rise. In this context, it is becoming a key issue to coordinate carbon emissions and economic growth.Based on the EKC hypothesis, using environment economics and econometrics and collecting statistical data, this paper firstly establishes the system of carbon source and carbon sink in Jiangxi province, in order to prepare for the data analysis and future analysis on Carbon trading and carbon emissions. Using energy carbon emissions, industrial carbon emissions, land-used changing carbon emissions, forest carbon and wetland carbon to analyze the develop trend of carbon emissions. Secondly, the paper analyze economic development trend of Jiangxi on the temporal and spatial dimensions, which gives a detailed analysis on three industrial structures and ensures the economic development stage. Finally, cointegration model, granger causality test are used to analyze the long relationship and short relationship between carbon emissions and economic growth in Jiangxi. as well as panel data are used to analyze the relationship of every cities' carbon emissions and economic growth.Trough the theoretical and empirical analysis, we know that: (1) Carbon emission which is different in different places is increasing year after year, and the contribution of energy's emission is the highest in Jiangxi province. (2)From 1995 to 2009, the average rate of Jiangxi's economic growth is 14.5% which shows a holistic sustaining growth, but the growth is not stable temporally or balanced spatially. (3)The relationship between the province's carbon emission and economic growth is inverse 'U' shape in long-term and not related in short-term. It is affected by economic and industry characteristics. "N" curve shape and inverse 'U' shape can describe the relationship between carbon emission and economic growth in most cities in Jiangxi province. At last, relying on carbon-reduction policy to make the Jiangxi province's economic development route.
