In recent years, as China's deepening economic and financial reform, China's banking industry ushered in a new round of reform and development and market competition becomes increasingly fierce. The final analysis of market competition is the talent competition and the banking industry attaches great importance to investment in human capital, management and development. Gradually a number of advanced human resource management methods and tools are introduced and performance management has been more widely used.This article where G provincial branch of Bank of communications performance management system is analyzed details how to inspect and evaluate the work of bank employees by taking performance evaluation of senior management personnel as an example. Overall, the construction and implementation of the new performance management system by the provincial branches of Bank of Communications play an active and positive role to a great extent in improving management efficiency, strengthening incentives and mobilizing initiative and enthusiasm of employees.However, due to the not long time of the construction of performance management system, as a major part of management reform and innovation this reform is inevitable to collide with t the original business model, business processes and corporate culture of the bank. Performance management mechanism is not synchronized in time with the improvement of business development and not matched closely enough with business processes, so there are a number of lines of local distortion exiting between performance management and appraisal results.Against the main problems of the implementation process of performance management this article gives a comprehensive range of measures in the way of objectives and principles of performance management, supporting incentives and cultural corporation. Performance Management must be consistent with development strategy and objectives of the Branch; Performance management has to not only adapt to the actual management of the bank but also promote business transformation of model and process to performance management oriented. Performance management has also to corporate with the culture, speed up the integration of each other and become the driving force of business development.
