Since China joined in WTO at the end of 2001, more and more foreign companies came to China and invested. With Chinese companies growing, they begin expanding their business tentacles into all over the world. But these company group are facing the difficult situation that how to strengthen financial management to their multinational branches.How to manage these branches effectively and get the necessary information to make correct decisions, it becomes a difficult question that management has to resolve. The rapid development of information technologies, especially, the application of ERP theory and ERP system, these make a big change on the way of the management of the enterprises. With the intense competition, information has been an important thing for the companies to survive. The application of theory and system of ERP has become a powerful tool to face this challenge.How to strengthen the financial management of enterprises through reforming the structure of finance organization? In this paper, based on the introducing and analyses of the related management theory,ERP theory and ERP system, through a case that a multinational company used the shared service center theory and ERP to strengthen the financial management and the discussion about the relevant questions, the author hopes this paper can provide some useful experiences to those multinational companies which want to strengthen financial management under ERP system circumstance. |
