The land of development zone is the basis for social and economic development, the most dynamic, value-added potential of the largest state-owned assets, and it is also the efficient capital vector that the Government can operate directly. The land resources'quantity, quality, and the difference in the distribution of industries for development zone is different, bringing different economic benefits and social benefits and environmental benefits.As China's economic development, population growth, industrial structure upgrade and urbanization, the demand for land grows stronger, but it is forming a develop contradiction with the limitation of land. This contradiction determines the changing of land use structure and national livelihood. Facing the contradiction of the land supply and demand, the only effective way is adjust the structure of land use artificially. Because of the various of historical reasons formed during China's urban construction, quite a lot of urban land affected by the planned economy era, caused the land using Irrationalstructure and the sprawl-style development model, not only reduced the efficiency of urban land use, but also occupied a large number of cultivated land. Large quantities of population and less arable land is particularly prominent contradictions in China. We must control the scale of the urban land. By adjusting the structure of urban land, increasing the degree of density and concentration, we can improve the level of urbanization. Therefore, in order to determine the rationality of urban land use structure and the level of efficiency, we need evaluate the intense use of land and calculate the space of potential land use.Evaluation of intensive land use in the development zone is to meet the maximum benefits and agglomeration, digging the layout of development zone and the irrational causes, mechanisms, potential number of land use structure. So that we can achieve a higher comprehensive benefits of the economic, social and ecological environment and realize sustainable development of development zone.The intensive land use of development zone is mainly based on socio-economic, environmental ecology, natural properties and its restiction degree on some reasonable use of land. To this kind of potential ability in land use,make a classification of its. So the whole idea of evaluation of intensive development zone is: Through extensive investigation, analysis the influence factors of intensive land use zone, find the indicators that used in evaluation (reasonable value or expected value), establish model by the corresponding evaluation goal, divide level and type of intensive use, measure the potential value and potential distribution, and put forward plans and suggestions for potential of rational land use.The evaluation method that studies on the land intensive use of Economic and Technological development zone in Zhengzhou is not only a problem of evaluation, more important is to deeply analysis the use of land .Therefore, the study firstly adopt remote sensing, GIS and other comprehensive technical methods to analysis the utilization of development zone deeply and based on this, establish evaluation of intensive land use comprehensive quantitative forecasting model, and then give a quantitative prediction assessment about the land-intensive degree of Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.
