The Empirical Analysis On Space Relevance Of County Economic Growth

The county economy is the main organization form of regional economy inChina. Most of previous studies on county economy growth hypothesis the researchobject as the "island" to deal with, Which has neglected the contact of the studyobject with the outside world. However, with the improving of the degree ofmarketization of our country, the relation between the country is increasingly close,the growth of county economy is also influenced by the adjacent county. But as thelevels of economic development, the geographical factors of every province aredifferent, the degree of space connection of county economic growth in eachprovince is also vary. This paper studies the factors affected the economic growthand the space connection, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures,which based on the economic growth theory and spatial econometric theory.First of all, this paper using Moran index to test the space effect of countyeconomic growth of20provinces in china respectively, the results showed that: inaddition to jilin province, per capita GDP distribution of city and county of other19provinces internal exist significant positive spatial autocorrelation, namely spitialgathered phenomenon.Secondly, This paper has a concrete analysis on choosing of spatial econometricmodel choice and the results of space regression estimation of every provinceaccording to space econometric theory. The analysis results show that economicgrowth of one region is not only dependent on its own foundation and the investmentfrom all aspects, but also relies on the economic growth levels and track of itsadjacent region. At the same time, the results find that the development of the secondindustry and the third industry and fixed asset investment have significant positiverelations with the growth of economic, and financial expenditure has negativerelation with the economic growth in all provinces.Thirdly, this paper analysis the influencing factors of spatial economiccorrelations through the method of analysing the correlation coefficient matrix and constructing multiple linear regression model, the results show that four factorsconducive to the strengthening of space economic association,which are theper-capita GDP, population density, network density and the deputy provincial cityof the province, and if the province is coastal provinces, the spatial economicassociation between each county of its will stronger.Finally, this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures from how toimprove the development of county economic and strengthen space economic linksof province internal, which according to the above analysis.
