Research On The Logistics Transportation Mode And Its Optimization Strategies Of HGST

Under the trend of economic globalization, with rapid development of economy, computer and communications technology, globalization also obtained the rapid development of the transport system. After China joined the World Trade Organization, China's economic development bringing more opportunities to international trade, international cargo's transferred is the tie for international trade. For production enterprises, already has the high-quality products, the perfect management system, and the competitive quotation for transportation freight. Find an optimized transportation mode is becoming more and more urgently for company.This thesis based on the mode of transportation optimization in supply chain management, analyzed and researched the transport mode and problems for the world famous company-HGST. Firstly, I listed the background,purpose and significance of transportation managing, described the status of logistics transportation mode and the trend for logistics transportation mode, described the transportation management of theory; Secondly, based on supply chain management environment, combined transportation management and the actual situation of HGST, I analyzed the notion problem for the related personnel, the cooperation of internal related department, internal system support and the transnational management. I listed the status of transportation mode and the problem; Thirdly, for finish goods, I optimized the transportation mode according to the characteristics of company and feasibility analysis for it, and I set up the schedule for it; Finally, according to the actual data, I analyzed the result for transportation mode changed: transportation freight was reduced,the inventory of finish goods was reduced and the lead time of transportation was reduced.
