A Model Design For Knowledge Push System Based On Workflow

With the development of knowledge-based economy, knowledge has become an important resource of enterprise and decides the enterprise's survival and development. So, how to manage knowledge effectively, increase the stock of knowledge of enterprise and take advantage of knowledge resource reasonably would be a major problem for most enterprises. One approach for solving this problem effectively is introducing a rational knowledge management way and build a knowledge management system which matches the enterprise's conditions and meet the demand of development of enterprise.As an effective mode in the process of carrying out knowledge management for enterprises, knowledge push system could integrate enterprise's knowledge resource greatly, improve the enterprise knowledge's efficiency and promote knowledge sharing and spreading within the enterprise. Nowadays, a lot of researches on knowledge push model have been done at home and abroad, in addition to the three popular push models: user interest-based, content-based and association rules-based, there are many different kinds of knowledge push models for different enterprise environments. In these push models, there are few researches on work flows, in which process, the knowledge is used and transferred most frequently. Especially in knowledge-intensive enterprises, workers need lots of knowledge which is related with work flows and need a kind of knowledge push system based on workflow to complete their work better. Simultaneously, the past researches on knowledge push model pay more attention to knowledge push technologies and ignore some non-technical factors, which could impact the processes of system development and implement, even decide the success or not of the system and should be paid more attention in system development process.This paper is based on the traditional knowledge push model and introduces workflow technology to solve the problem of the interrelation between business processes and knowledge. After an introduction of workflow technology and knowledge theories in detail, the article rises up the knowledge push model based on workflow technology, which includes the demand analysis processes in the early, the system structure and frame and the non-technical supports in system development process. This paper describes the whole processes of the system build and development in detail and use a specific example to explain this model's build process with the method of combination of theory and practice.
