Study On The Selection Of ERP Software Supplier In The SGD Company

In the 21st century, with the global environment changing rapidly, the market competition increasingly, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) becoming more and more important, it has become the catalysis for profit growth, an effective powerful weapon and the core of the corporate competitive strategy for enterprises to improve efficiency and competitiveness. It can improve enterprise management level and productivity, and then improve the enterprise's competitiveness. But it was not so successful to implement the ERP system. Enterprises aiming to successfully implement ERP systems, however, are initially faced with the challenge of choosing the suppliers of software. This is a critical issue that the businesses must be faced.This paper mainly studies the SGD Company, and researches on the choice of ERP software suppliers, which contains of five parts. The first part describes the background of the article, the purpose and significance of the study, summarizes the international and domestic research results and methods on supplier selection in current. And on this basis describes the contents and methods of this study. The second part describes the ERP software supplier evaluation index system, determines the evaluation index system for this paper, and summarizes the research methods, which prepare for the next parts. Section 3 discusses the status of the SGD Company, and analyzes the reasons and the necessities for its introduction of ERP systems. It also describes the overall framework of the article and the research methods, and gives a detailed description of Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation. Section 4 introduces the specific example and uses the AHP and Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation to calculate the data, and then obtained the relevant results. Conclusions are finally drawn in the fifth part.In a word, the research of this thesis helps enterprises to understand the process of ERP software supplier selection, and familiar with the influential factors of ERP software selection. It also provides reference for the evaluation of ERP software supplier selection. Therefore, this research has some practical significance.
