The development of automotive industry has close relationship with automotive financial development. With the development of Chinese automotive industry and changes happened to the main body of automotive consumption, Chinese automotive finance develops very fast and growth of automotive consumption credit is relatively obvious. However, compared to the mature automotive financial market in foreign developed countries, there is still a problem in China that business development of automotive consumption credit cannot suit for its present development level. In addition to automotive development strategies, management style and new energy research and development, industrial policy, consumption method and finance also restrict the development of Chinese industry. The method of terminal automotive consumption is the power to develop automotive industry, in which automotive financial service is the key engine.According to the statistics, Chinese automotive sale in 2009 has been over 13 million, and China has been listed into major countries of automotive manufactures and consumption countries in the world. However, slow development of credit consumption, simple style and backward functions cannot meet the realistic development of Chinese automotive market.Through various research methods, this thesis analyzed the relationship between the development situation of Chinese automotive industry and automotive financial development with specific and accurate data. Moreover, this thesis also proposed that the sustainable development of Chinese automotive industry should be promoted through the development of automotive finance. China should be changed from automotive manufacturing major country into strong country. Development requirement of automotive finance should be based on the researches and advices on automotive characteristics, development pattern, consumption methods and after-sale service. Therefore, this thesis makes the strategic analysis on advantages and disadvantages of advanced automotive financial service in foreign developed countries. This thesis also concludes the recent situation and successful experience on automotive financial service in America, Japan and Europe. According to the development of Chinese social economy, this thesis puts forward the problems in Chinese automotive financial service and finds a solution.
