Clothing, food, shelter and transportation are closely linked with each resident's daily lives. The issues of live have become a topic of concern to the whole society after the initial food and clothing problem has been resolved when china into the well-off society. Soaring housing prices is a major feature of urban development in today china. Housing supply has the function of regulating the housing prices and the migration. It is affected by many factors. On the one hand, the development of housing supply should be based on the actual situation of urban economic development, social development, population development, and ecological development; on the other hand, housing supply requires a lot of residential construction which is bound to consume a large amount of natural resources and has great effect on the ecological environment. From the analysis above, we set the goal of sustainable development in the housing supply development. This paper took housing supply of Harbin as the research object. Firstly, we analysed the status of demand and supply of Harbin housing and concluded that the residential market in Harbin had great potential which brought enormous pressure on housing supply. Therefore, we set the goal of sustainable development. Secondly according to the concept of sustainable development, we described the implication of sustainable development of housing supply in detail and analyzed the important factors influencing sustainable development of housing supply in Harbin. Through the analysis above, combined with the selection principle of index system, we used the model of "driving force - pressure - state - response" to construct the evaluation index system which could reflect the sustainable development of housing supply in Harbin. Thirdly, in the process of evaluation analysis, we used comprehensive integrated weighting method in the indicators standardized processing and chose the model of time series analysis based on composite index and the grey incidence analysis which could well illustrate the dynamic level of sustainable development in Harbin. Finally, we used GM (1,1) model to predict the level of sustainable development in Harbin. Through the evaluation and analysis above, we gave the countermeasures to promote sustainable development of housing supply in Harbin.
