Agent-oriented Virtual Enterprise Knowledge Management System Analysis And Design

In the knowledge economy, as a new form of business organization, virtual enterprise is concerned by the theory and the business community increasingly. Virtual enterprise has developed gradually from the concept formed stage to the operational phase. One of the fundamental elements of virtual business operations is information and knowledge resource. The key of operation is effective management of information and knowledge, so knowledge management has become an inevitable choice for virtual enterprise.The implementation of the virtual enterprise knowledge management includes the effective implementation of knowledge acquisition, storage, sharing and application in the enterprise and between member companies. The set of systems which meet to the characteristics and applications of virtual enterprises knowledge management can help virtual enterprises to acquire, store, share and apply information and knowledge by means of information technology, ensure the good performance of virtual enterprise knowledge management, and achieve the ultimate goal of the virtual enterprise operation. Development and application of the system needs guidance of theoretical methods and models. So the practical development and application of the system can be guided and promoted by selecting the appropriate software engineering methods to create a virtual enterprise knowledge management system analysis and designing models.Firstly, this paper analyzes the virtual enterprise knowledge management research status at home and abroad, summarizes the current status of the virtual enterprise knowledge management and problems of development, then proposes the focus of this study. Secondly, it reviewes the study of virtual enterprise knowledge management theory, selects the appropriate software engineering methods based on the characteristics of virtual enterprise knowledge management system, and describes the chosen method in detail, so as to provide theoretical and technical support for the further studies of this paper. Thirdly, it uses UML modeling language and tool to acquire the initial system requirements of virtual enterprise knowledge management system. Fourthly, this study applies MaSE and AgentTool to analyze the virtual enterprise knowledge management system. Based on the analyzing models, it designs virtual enterprise knowledge management system. Lastly, the thesis discusses the software development technology for virtual enterprise knowledge management system from the perspective of Multi-Agent-Systems, and provides theoretical support for the virtual enterprise knowledge management system development and application.
