Research On The Coordinated Development Between Telecommunications Industry And Regional Economy

China national economy has been changed from traditional industrial structure to modern industrial structure leading by information technology and biotechnology. China central government takes the new information technology as the first among seven new strategic industry in the twelfth five-year plans, locates it as one of four mainstay industry in 2020, and looks it like strategic, foundational and leading industry of national economy in the long terms.This paper takes telecommunications industry which is the most activity in information technology industry as the main object, studies the relationship between telecommunications industry and regional economy development, by using many methods including comparative, theoretical and empirical ways, taking Neimenggu Autonomous Region for example; deems that there are many difficulties, such as the service of telecommunications does not meet the social diversified demand, the service contents are too single, the development is imbalance between cities and countries, and so on. And the last, this peper gives some advices for promoting and enhancing the development of telecommunications industry in Neimenggu Autonomous Region.
