Study On Optimal Progress Management Of Data Center Constuction

With the more application of Internet technology, data center is developing very fast in the country. But there are still many drawbacks in the management of data center construction. This paper introduces how to use the professional project management knowledge to manage the data center construction schedule and give some optimal suggestion.The paper discusses the status of project management for data center. According to the data center implementation process, this paper use the basic theories and methods of project schedule management, establish a data center project WBS work breakdown structure model and with which to optimal the schedule management. It also introduced how to use the responsibility of the relevant matrix to resolve various vendors'interface problems. By critical path analysis, the paper uses the network technology for the project to set up a project's network diagram. Also, the paper uses the critical path of some actual cases to analysis the important factors which impacting the project process.The paper also proposed some optimization method to arrange resources in modern data center construction. According to the characteristics of the process of building data centers and the current shortages of the correspond process, the paper raised some suggestions to improve the corresponding time efficiency, and finally optimal the project schedule of data center construction.Some of the management methods the paper involved have been used in the current data center construction projects. Although some methods are not perfect, but it also give us many good experience and ideas.
