In recent years, with the rapid development of international financial markets, international exchange rates, the volatility of interest rates increasing significantly, the spread of U.S. subprime mortgage crisis, the banking business environment facing unprecedented challenges. In this context of historical development, China's commercial banks continued to be strong in order to develop, the primary issue is to solve its own problems facing the risks, these risks include market risk, price risk, operational risk and credit risk. China's commercial banks in risk management, particularly credit risk management, with developed countries, there are still large gaps. Therefore, how to rationally and effectively reduce the credit risk of the development of the impact of the banking industry for improving the level of international competitiveness of banks in China to maintain sustained and healthy development of the national economy, and for social stability and have a very important influence.This paper analyzes the credit risk of commercial banks to the internal and external reasons, credit risk management of commercial banks and construction progress of bank credit risk management practices were introduced and developed countries, commercial banks borrowed from the advanced credit risk management methods and means for China's commercial banks to provide technical support.With developed countries, credit risk management of commercial banks compared with that of commercial banks in credit risk management, the following problems: inadequate system of internal control of credit risk, a single method of dealing with bad loans and inadequate supervision of such credit risk. The proposed specific recommendations include: establishing a scientific and reasonable system of internal controls, under the risk related to credit risk and operational risk management together to enhance information disclosure and to increase supervision and the vigorous development of China capital markets for the use of credit derivatives credit risk management of commercial banks to build a firewall from another channel.
