In order to protect the natural environment, rural landscapes, traditional culture, national characteristics and other resources of towns and villages, to promote the coordinated development of urban and rural, and the exchange and increase their income, expanding domestic demand, and promoting rural economic and social development, China launched the striving work of the national tourism characteristics towns and villages. Jiangsu is rich in featured town resources. In the first announced of the 105 tourism characteristics towns and villages, there are nine towns and villages accouted for Jiangsu Province. So the number of terms account for a large proportion. In addition, from the view of quality point, Jiangsu Province has a more famous tourism characteristics towns and villages, for example Zhouzhuang, Tongli Town, etc.. So whether from the quantity and quality, tourism attractions towns and villages in Jiangsu Province are more advantageous. But the focus on the development of tourism attractions towns and villages is the villages feature. The feature is the soul, which is one important factor for distinguished from other towns and villages. So in order to form a differential advantage, it is necessary to conduct in-depth brand building. Brand applications are more and more widely, not only in products, technologies, services and other areas, the tourism industry can also create a brand. Creating a brand in various villages and towns would form their own characteristics, so that improve the overall strength and competitiveness.To enhance the tourism characteristics towns and villages in Jiangsu Province's overall competitiveness, basing on the theory and practice of field research, this paper analyzed and summarized the development status of the tourism attractions of towns and villages in Jiangsu Province, proposed the composing elements and other theories, as well as the types of tourism characteristics towns and villages in Jiangsu Province. And combining the brand theory, summed up the brand building related contents of the tourism characteristics towns and villages. In all the tourism characteristics towns and villages in Jiangsu Province, Zhouzhuang has a higher status and earlier for the brand-building work, so this paper use Zhouzhuang as a case, by the form of questionnaires to survey a direct reaction of the participants to the brand building of Zhouzhuang. And make descriptive statistical analysis to the reaction, then obtain the success and relative deficiencies of Zhouzhuang in brand building. Accordingly, proposed the measures to strengthen brand building of the tourism attractions towns and villages in Jiangsu Province. So that for the future to enhance competitiveness in the application of operational guidance of the tourism attractions towns and villages in Jiangsu Province. And for the other characteristics villages and towns provide a good reference and successful experience. So that enhance the tourism attractions of towns and villages in Jiangsu Province's overall competitiveness...
