Study On Status And Countermeasures Of Agricultural Mechanization Development In Xiangtan

Agriculture can not develop rapidly without the support of agricultural mechanization. Agricultural mechanization is a dynamic course; its main content is to improve the business operation conditions of agricultural production, and raise the the production engineering level,economic benefits and ecological benefits of agriculture with the advanced and applicable agricultural maehinery. Accelerate the development of agricultural mechanization is the only way to achieve agricultural modernization, the inevitable trend to achieve sustainable agricultural development,a important element of building a new socialist countryside and the inevitable result of the transfer of rural labor force.The study systematically analyzed the development process of agricultural mechanization in Xiangtan from the initial stage of development, adjustment stage, conversion stage and improvement stage,then,described the development status and level of agricultural mechanization in Xiangtan on farm machinery and equipment, agricultural service, organization system and legal management. The study proposed the problems existed in development of Xiangtan agricultural mechanization on this basis,as overall level of agricultural mechanization is not high, structure is not superior, lack of capital investment, social service system is not perfect and lack of large-scale agricultural business development and other issues. Then it analyzed the factors of agricultural mechanization development in Xiangtan with AHP, established the matrix of factors, calculated the weight of the role of each factor for agricultural mechanization development in Xiangtan and summarized the dominant factor of agricultural mechanization development in Xiangtan.Based on a full understanding of the development status quo of agricultural mechanization in Xiangtan combining the development of agriculture andrural economy, the study proposed measures in order to promote the development of agricultural mechanization, increase agricultural comprehensive production capacity and promote the building of new socialist countryside in Xiangtan such establishing diversified investment mechanism of the farmers as the main,improving the social service system for agricultural machinery, strengthening management system to supervise agricultural machinery security,the infrastructure of agricultural mechanization and improving the quality of agriculture technicians.
