In the field of Performance research, There are two models that commonly used.The first model is describe all the work by the latent variables; The second model is divide the performance into two aspects to analyze the relationship between them,that is task performance and contextual performance.But this two models didn't concern the adaptability of the new task and new environments. With the development of technology and changes of environment, the dynamic change has become the main features of the organization gradually.This requires that individuals must have the ability to adapt the new work and environments.So the researchers proposed the adaptive performance on the basis of the task performance and contextual performance.Adaptive performance is a new and multi-dimensional concept, the research about the adaptive performance is mature relatively in the foreign countries, the domestic research focused more on the conceptual and theoretical, and less on the empirical research in different industries. Based on this background, this paper takes a commercial bank as an example, discusses the adaptive performance of the financial enterprises from the structure, factors and practical application.The results show that the adaptive performance of the financial enterprises is a multidimensional construct. Includes work pressure and interpersonal adaptability; Emergency adaptability;Learning adaptability; Innovative methods of work; Cultural adaptability; Behavior adaptability. The factors that affect the adaptive performance includes self-efficacy, proactive personality and organizational support.The demographic statistical variables also have impact on adaptive performance, but it doesn't show significant differences on each dimensions. In practice, it can be used to job analysis, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, career development,etc.This paper explores the financial enterprises'adaptive performance structure on the basis of theoretic alanalysis and data analysis, it will provide a reference and basis for adaptive performance about financial enterprises and other industries in the future.
