With the entry of foreign commercial banks, large commercial bank's listing and the rise of shareholding commercial banks, the reform process of commercial banks in china have been accelerated. How to improve market structure and performance of china's commercial banks has become practical problems to be solved in the developing process.This paper uses analysis tools that the theory of industrial organization provides. Based on the domestic and overseas research production, this paper studies and discusses the market structure and performance of commercial banks in china by using some methods such as comparative analysis, normative analysis and empirical analysis, quantitative and qualitative methods.Based on the real data, The whole article chooses 15 representative commercial banks of china as a sample including 165 panel data. And then makes an empirical analysis about the relationship between the market structure and performance of China's commercial banks. This text uses Eviews(a kind of software) to analyze the data and draws the relevant conclusions. The conclusion involves that the structure of china's commercial banks is oligopolistic market, the ratio of ROE and non-performing loan ratio really reviews commercial bank performance and the scale efficiency and performance of china's commercial banks h as no significant negative correlation.According to the analysis result of china's commercial banking market structure and performance, this text finally provides some policy recommendations: reducing market barriers to entry and improving the market withdrawal mechanism, realizing the strategic change from "bringing in" foreign banks to chinese banks "going out" and financial product innovation of commercial banks need strengthen risk regulation.
