The modern management leadership Peter Drucker had stated that the competition between modern enterprises is not the competition of products, but the business models. According to the investigation of the Scientific Investment:In starting business, there is 23% failing because of strategic reasons,28% due to carrying out failures, but 49% attributing to invalid business models. So, if there is no proper business model, no matter how famous the enterprise is, how much its asset is, the destiny of it is to fail. The business model is so important for an enterprise's survival. If an enterprise wants to be on the way to success, it must begin from setting proper business model, which is all the same to the new starting enterprises and the developing ones. Business model is the key to success for any enterprise.The GuangZhou Branch of Merchants Bank has a strong competitive advantage in innovation ability, the management level, and profit ability, but the business model innovation of the bank is affected by the old ones, leading to many problems, such as, the declining of creative abilities, the inadequacy of advertising power and the loosing relationship with the market. Considering the above situations, researching on how to starting financial innovation, especially on the utility of business model innovation on finance, is of necessary theoretical and practical value to our merchants banks'development.In order to solving the above problems, the paper analyzes the developing situation, demand and risk inclination, financial situation and satisfaction to our bank of the high-ending clients of the merchant bank with the questionnaire method, based on the domestic and foreign financial innovation theories. Following the above analysis, the paper studies the present situation of the business model innovation for high-ending clients and analyzes the strength and threatening of the merchant bank. At last, the paper focuses on the constructing process, achievements, pilot promotion, and security tactics of the business model innovation for the high-ending clients. Hoping the new model can be of some help to the second transformation of GuangZhou Branch of China Merchants Bank.
