Study On RFID-Based Intelligent Field Medical Chest And Its Management System

Field medical chests are conveyance packages that loading and carrying field medicine and basic medical equipment.It can be used to pack and carry drugs and medical equipment in the field and atrocious conditions for military units.Lots of the injured persons appearing in modern warfare,earthquake,etc,made rescue time shorten and rescue task hard,as a result,the drugs and first-aid medicine equipments should be located quickly.Therefore,the intelligent ability of the Field medical chests is very necessary.In this paper,the RFID-based intelligent medical chest and its management system is studied to meet the intelligent requirements.According to the structure of field medical chest and the intelligent requirements appearing in troop's actual use,a detailed RFID-based implementation scheme is provided in the paper.The components and their performances,their assembling position in intelligent field medical chest system based on RFID technology is discussed in detail on the basis of introducing background and working principle of RFID technology.The key technologies of field medicine chest is also discussed in detail,they are:design of RFID reader antenna embedded in drawers of field medicine chest,principle and realization of locating technology with antennas separated in space,design of patrol multi-antenna module,principle and realization of patrol-read controlling of multi-antenna,and communication between digital processor and RFID reader.In this paper,management information system of the intelligent field medical chest is developed too.Because of adopting RFID auto-identifying technology,there are some differences for drugs management of the chest from the common management information system.Several aspects about the management information system are introduced in detail as follows:in-out stock management of drugs, inquiry of drug stocks,inquiry of drugs in chest and management of some fixed information that related to the drug.The programmed flow and interface realizing with advanced program design language of Microsoft Visual C# about drug management is described.The prototype model of field medical chest equipped with RFID system and developed management information system can successfully realize locating management and automatical statistics of drugs in medical chest without opening the chest,and the drugs can be monitored in real time.The intelligent medical chest is expected to contribute to the troop's modernization level of sanitation logistic and the ability of quick response.
