Key Technology Study Of Wireless Mesh Network

The Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a new type of wireless broad-band accessnetwork. As Ad hoc network, it is capable of multi-hop, self-organization. And itscapabilityof high capacityand high transmission rate is the same as WLAN. We regardWMN as the production byWLAN and Ad hoc. For these reasons, WMN becomes hotpointincommunicationresearchingfieldrecently.Firstly, this article introduces the feature, structure and application of WMN.Secondly, research issues are given on Roaming, Security and Routing. In researchingonroaming,commonmechanisms areintroduced, someproblems areanalyzedandnewroaming mechanism is brought forward based on Layer 2 and Layer 3 Roaming.Performance tests for roaming are also given. For security, common securitymechanisms are also introduced and primaryauthentication methods are studied.Anewpre-authentication algorithm is introduced to roaming method. I also give theperformance analysis. For routing, after studying a lot of routing protocols for wirelessnetwork, a new routing algorithm is brought by me. The key point of this protocol isloadbalance.
