It is prospected that future mobile communication will meet the booming demand in extra high data rate and network throughputs. There are several technical innovations and new strategies are proposed, but many experts suppose that it still remains a question. Therefore, we start to focus on the basic architectures of cellular networks. As ad-hoc technologies have been successful in B3G area, we pick up the concept of multi-hop relaying.As a part of Winner Project, the COWeb system research makes a great effort in the improvement of radio resource strategies in Fixed Relaying Network. Several schemes and algorithms are proposed in this thesis, ranging from macro frequency planning, antenna design to micro frequency allocation and sub-carriers, bit rate and power allocation in the OFDM systems. All of them are based on the specialty of the FRN,which prove to be more effective and advanced than traditional network strategies. |
