The GPS Research And Design Based On Embedded Linux

In addition, the general GPS data includes UTC time, ground speed of, positioning state, date, azimuth, signal-to-noise ratio and so on other commonly used data.This paper expounds the technical background, practical significance and research status of subject research.Embedded system and GPS module function was analyzed. And on this basis,Linux and GPS module are the overall design scheme. Then detailed analysis the Linux kernel details, include the structure of the Linux kernel, part and the corresponding function and the analysis of the device driver. And on this basis the transplant needed for the serial driver, and complete the Linux kernel custom, design a kind of of Linux based on embedded GPS. The scheme select ARM9processor by the series S3C2440chip, GPS module by new sirf3generation of chip (REB3571), use Linux as embedded operating system. In S3C2440processor to run on Linux operating system and the corresponding application software, to control GPS module complete accept satellite signal, conversion and passed to the S3C2440processor. The scheme has effectively realized the function orientation, have the very good real-time, for behind the GPS function realization based.Finally, this paper work made a summary, points out the existing problems and the improvement methods, guidance for the follow-up study.
