The application of wireless sensor networks has great potential, whether they are in the country's military professional communications, security defense regulatory control, city traffic order management needs, or civilian family care, environment monitoring, remote control and other needs and so on.Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is the combination of communication technology, computer technology, sensor technology and network technology, it is considered as the most important technology in21st century. Wireless sensor networks have great potential applications. It will have important scientific value and great practical value in many areas such as military communications, security monitoring, traffic management, home health care,environmental monitoring, emergency, remote control and so on. Wireless Sensor Network gets more and more attention due to its advantages such as low cost, easy to install,maintain and convenient update and so on.At present, the study of Wireless Sensor Networks become more in-depth,application fields are more widely.It is better than by using the wireless sensor network collects singnal which monitors state of environment than traditional cable sensor in the wiring process.This thesis has introduced the background and significance of the research as first,then the analyzed development of the traditional Wireless Sensor Network and current situation, and in-depth analysis of the technology of wireless sensor networks and its application in environmental monitoring for the wireless sensor network technology challenges.Put forward the novel environmental temperature monitoring system based on Wireless Sensor Network technology, have recommended a kind of brand-new wireless node design plan of framework of Wireless Sensor Network and node hardware to be designed and realized, then based on CC2530, have solved the wireless sensor network data sampling, systematic energy-conservation optimize, this thesis summarized the preceding work finally, have looked forward to the development,application and commoditization in the future.
