Anonymous Communication Model Based On Network Coding Research

In the age of the Internet, people can carry information acquisition, leisure and entertainment, e-commerce and other different activities by the mobile phone. We can say that the wireless network has been changing the world. With the rapid development of computer network, the Internet security and privacy is increasingly concerned by people. The problem of the security and privacy protection make the study of the anonymous communications technology become a hot spot.In this thesis, after the analysis of the existing anonymous communication technologies, we analyze the inadequate of the existing anonymous communication technologies with the wireless network. With the research on the network coding theory and application, we propose an information flow restructuring anonymous communication mechanism based on network coding. There are two points of main innovations in this thesis:For a distributed environment of network privacy protection requirements, after the analysis of the existing communication and point out that it is impossible to fit the wireless network. After exploring the approaches of preventing traffic analysis through hiding the source and destination of packets, we present a novel anonymous communication model named coding mix which is based on the information confusion and the disguising of network coding. This model changes the correspondence and external form of the in and out packets to improve the ability against attacks by coordinating of coding mix on link layer, slicing information on network layer and multipath routing. The new model can achieve the confidentiality and anonymity of the communications and implement the function of the anonymous communications infrastructure.On the base of the depth study on the mesh network, for the requirements of the privacy protection of the mesh network, we propose an anonymous communication method with multi-paths network coding to ensure the anonymity of WMNs. Based on the information confusion and disguising of network coding, this method combines the improved network coding and multi-path transmission in order to get the anonymous communication between the nodes. Meanwhile, the cross-layer cooperation scheme can bring down the dependence on the single data and reduce the influences which the link failure brings.
