Micro-blogging, as a new media, has developed rapidly in China since2010which draws public attention not only because of its immediacy and activity in information disseminating, but also because of its social forces. Whether the social forces embodied in the news construction process, if so, how and how to better, thinking on these issues eventually directed this study to the subject:The key role is the "Media Celebrities'Micro-blogging" which makes micro-blogging play its social forces.This paper taking Sina micro-blogging as the objct, using Social Network Analysis method studies the structural role of the media celebrities'micro-blogging in the process of news'social constructing in order to answer the questions below:Ql.Does the media celebrities' micro-blogging play a special role in news'social constructing? If so, what is it? Q2.What is the constructive process of the function above? Q3.How does this function work? Q4. How to make better use of this function?The results show that:Firstly, the function, fundamentally speaking, is a kind of power relation. It practically performs two aspects:For media celebrities' micro-blogging individuals, they can be classified into four types which are "Opinion Leader","Socialite","Jack-of-all-trades" and "Onlookers" For media celebrities'micro-blogging populations, they can be divided into "Circles" and present the model of "Onlook's".Secondly, in the construction process the media celebrities' micro-blogging plays two main structural roles:One is to build the critical paths and expand the constructing scope subjectively. The other is to onlook in core circle which objectively provide their massive funs first-hand information timely.Thirdly, the "micro" content filling up celebrities'fragmented time, the varieties of publishing terminals asking for the celebrities'economic base, these two objective factors let micro-blogging assemble massive celebrities and make them active on micro-blogging. The real power of media celebrities in news'constructing reappears virtually that is the subjective factor making the function work. Micro-blogging's characteristic of "Social Network Services Media" magnifies the function fundamentally.Fourthly, though in specific news events the function works, the influence is insignificant in the whole micro-blogging media environment. Entertainment-oriented content and personal expression system are the two obstacles. Turnning entertainment democracy into the deeper democracy, constructing public sphere in personal expression system will strengthen the effect which the media celebrities'micro-blogging plays in the social construction of news.
