Energy conservation and environmental protection has long beenrecongnized one of the world's most lively research projects. Intelligentlighting control system as an indispensable part of the intelligent buildingsystem, which has remarkable energy-saving effect, provides convenientfor people's life. Its development fully responds to the Chinese "greenlighting" and the market requirement is increasing. In this thesis, thecurrent development of the imtelligent lighting technology is systematicoverviewed and then an intelligent lighting control system (ILCS) basedon wireless sensor network is desigened. The main works can besummarized as follows,1. Wireless network architecture of the intelligent lighting system isconstructed. Based on the requirements of the ILCS, the radio frequencytechnology is selected as the wireless communication technology, andthen the CSMA/CA protocol of the MAC layer and the correspondinghandshake mechanism are realized.2. An OPC DA Server is developed for this system, the OPC objectsand interfaces, the server address space and the hardware driver part as the functional modules of this OPC DA Server are programed andrealized.3. An intelligent lighting control system is simulated builded byATmega16L, nRF905, electronic components, incandescent andtemperature sensor. At the same time, a set of corresponding managementplatform is implemented by the Kingview.The repeated experiment results show that this system can besmoothly runned, and meeted the design requirements. This ILCS isproved to be with good expansibility.
