The Application Of Virtual Reality Technology In The Construction Of Digital Campus

With the rapid development of computer networks, based on virtual reality technology on internet which being gradually applied to a variety of virtual communities, people has a feeling of be personally on the scene of three-dimensional virtual space by the network.The thesis is based on the digital campus construction of North China University of Technology which use the Internet-based virtual reality technology and has constructed North China University virtual campus.Aiming at the problems existed in the exploitation of the virtual campus, from the overall design and database design to the detailed design of the functional modules, the paper puts forward a better solution, which can make the system ensure not only the close-range fidelity, but also the real-time rapid response when travelling, the system synchronization when chatting under the environment of three-dimensional model.The system achieves a variety of tour mode and navigation mode and is user-friendly so that those who visit have a sense of immersion.The research results of this paper can be applied to the development of a variety of virtual community and has great practical value.
