The application of laser plasma flash in the photoelectric warfare is investigated theoretically and experimentally, thus, the feasibility is verified.The characteristics of the radiation spectrum are analyzed and the experiments are performed based on summarizing the mechanism of laser plasma radiation in atmosphere. The results show the atmosphere plasma flash has a wide spectrum and strong radiation, and its intensity mainly depends on electronic density. Furthermore, we put forward the concept of using laser plasma flash to interfere the photoelectric detection system according to its working principle.Time-resolved process of delayed double pulse lasers and three monopulse laser induced plasma in atmospheric environment were studied utilizing Mach-Zehnder interferometer, and electron density values in the centre of plasma region at different moments were obtained. Furthermore, we compared the electron density of the plasma induced by delayed double pulse lasers of the same injection energy and monopulse laser, the result shows when injecting the same laser energy, delayed double pulses method can increase the plasma lifetime effectively.According to the experiment result of laser induced air plasma flash interfering infrared guidance system, we propose that extending plasma existence time and improving laser repetition frequency can both enhance interference effect effectively.This research results provide an idea in photoelectric against and photoelectric interference field, and are available for further theoretical and experimental research reference.
