With the rapid development of electronic health care technologies, various types of medical data are available to assist in health care workers'clinical tasks. As a result, the problem of medical information overload is becoming more and more serious. The technology of integrated data visualization of electronic medical record plays an important role in solving the problem. However, due to the complexity of clinical settings and the diversity of clinical information needs are raising great demands of flexibility and dynamics in this technology.To the problems mentioned above, this thesis does a thorough research on customizable integrated data view of electronic medical record which includes:(?) The thesis proposed a layered method to dynamically customize the integrated data view of electronic medical record based on deep analysis of existing models and methods of dynamical user interface customization. The thesis analyzed the constraints of clinical context, relativity of medical data and integrated visualization format. The integrated data view is customized on two levels:the constraints and the personalized customization. Thus, it satisfies the complex clinical requirements.(?) The thesis designed a software framework of customizable integrated data view of electronic medical record based on the layered method. First the framework constructs an extensible, "plug and play" visual component library. And then, the components are combined together through a view designer and a view template is formed. Finally, the software parses the template and generates the integrated data view required. The thesis developed the software based on the framework designed.(?) In order to validate the layered method proposed and the software framework designed, the thesis customized data views for several typical clinical contexts which include ward rounds, preoperative risk evaluation and nursing teaching. The result shows that we can customize integrated data views quickly and accurately using the view designer based on the layered customization method.The thesis does a beneficial exploration on integrated visualization of medical data. On the basis of this research, we can ultimately form a set of integrated data views applied in various clinical environments through further developing the visual component library and improving usability of the view designer. Thus, provide a feasible solution to prevent medical information overload.
