Study Of Web User Interface Customization Technology

This paper is focused on web interface customization and application. With the rapid development of web technology, web system is entering into an era which centers on customer because users always want to customize the web interface, create their own personalized interface. However, the traditional web interface development technology can not meet this requirement. Therefore, it needs to develop the new web interface customization technology to solve the existing problem in the web interface development.This paper introduces the common interface technologies and solutions, and especially analyzes the web user interface model, the interface components and the interested pattern. With other related technologies, it designs a web interface customization system, giving the system a frame structure and some related technologies. Meanwhile, it carries on some preliminary discussion on the application of the custom technology in the legacy system.In the aspects of customized technology, the web interface model is divided into structural layer, presentation layer and behavior layer so as to achieve the separation of the interface description, data and events, connecting by data gateway and controller. This paper proposes a new web interface component description, which is based on the metadata component description giving the metadata object a formal description definition. It discusses the process of components customized in the system, and establishes the web interface component library. Users interest analysis is the prerequisite for achieving interface customization, which can be achieved by user configuration and user automatically push. It also analyzes the sources information of users interested, gives the process of building user interested pattern, and describes the specific application of user interested pattern in interface customization.As the application of customization technology, this paper have designed and implemented a customization system, which has some subsystems such as the component modeling subsystem, interface customization subsystem, interface management subsystem, customizable interface view subsystem etc. It also gives a simple description about the function of these subsystems, and introduces some key modules, like design and realization of interface component, realization of interface component dragging technology, realization of interface component editor, realization of interface customization style display, personalized menus and so on. Customization system can be used for reconstruction of the web legacy system, through analyzing the legacy system, this paper gives reconstruction solution and realization strategy which makes the web interface customization technology used in the legacy system.
