The full name of LTE is The UMTS Long Term Evolution, it is the largest new technology research and development program initiated by 3GPP in recent years.This paper focuses on the multi-user scheduling algorithms of LTE downlink OFDMA system. In order to make efficient use of resources, main tasks of multi-user scheduling include rationally allocating radio resources among various services of all the users, maximizing system throughput while ensuring fairness.Firstly, This paper make a simulation analysis on classic scheduling algorithm of LTE system, discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the classical algorithms, applicable business and scene, Especially, making a further research and study on the performance of the algorithm called M-LWDF that is applicative for Real-time services. On the basis of simulation practice, an improved algorithm called AM-LWDF which is more sensitive to delay is proposed, in the guarantee system throughput, under the premise, this algorithm try to improve the users'fairness.In this paper, we demonstrate that the AM-LWDF algorithm is fairer to the users and packet loss rate also goes down highly from the result of system simulation and experiment data. Tuning the key factor can decrease about 3%-8% packet loss. The whole throughput goes down slightly and the range is in our expectation. This algorithm can make a good tradeoff between user fairness and frequency usage.
