Wireless Networked Control System(WiNCS) is a complex system, which is involved with wireless network, computer, control, and other areas of the content. Compared to Wired Networked Control System(NCS),it offer ease of installation, flexibility, ease of maintain and expand. With the development of wireless network technology, it will be used in all walks of life. But due to the peculiarities of the wireless channel, the performances of WiNCS are greatly influenced by time-varying packet delays and losses. This thesis is focus on the simulation and performance analysis about WiNCS which is based on the IEEE802.11MAC. The primary content is as follows.(1)Used the co-simulation tool PiccSIM(Platform for integrated communications and control design, simulation, implementation and modeling)which is integrated by Matlab and NS-2,a simulation model is designed which topology is peer-to-peer mode, and used a more appropriate sampling period.(2)For mobile wireless network node characteristics, a simulation model contains the mobile node about WiNCS which is based on the Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is designed. and investigated the impact of packet delay and packet drop under the AODV and DSDV routing protocols.(3)Investigated the performance of WiNCS with radio interference, and tried to improve the system's performance by adding others nodes. Started from the MAC protocol and investigated the effect of network parameters to improve the system's performance under interference environment, these parameters include RTS/CTS, MAC retransmission, network bandwidth and can influence the Quality of Service. Simulation results verified whether to use the RTS/CTS, retransmission mechanism and bandwidth setting when the system in noisy environment.(4)Because the IEEE802.11eMAC protocol can assign different data streams into different permission, so we can make use of it and give the control flows with the highest priority but give others with the lowest priority.. Simulation results verified the effect of IEEE802.11eMAC to improve the Quality of Control.
