In cognitive radio (CR) networks, the reuse of licensed spectrum resources without interfering is deemed to be a promising way to alleviate the spectrum scarcity problem. Spectrum sensing, one of the most important issues in CR networks, has a significant effect on the performance of the CR system. At present, as well as a series of results, the unique security issues such as primary user emulation (PUE) attack in physical layer, selfish behavior attack and denial of service attack in MAC layer and so on have been introduced too. In addition, with the development of CR technology and the mushroom of new services, the traditional narrow-band spectrum sensing can no longer meet the growing demand of spectrum resources, and the wide-band spectrum sensing is coming out. In the thesis, we focus on the defense against PUE attack and wide-band sensing in cooperative spectrum sensing.Considering the undetected PUE attack, we analyze the impact of the correlation on performance of sensing. On the basis, we propose the algorithm of CR users' selection based on the spatial correlation with maximum-minimum eigenvalue (MME) detection. The scheme prefers to choose CR users which are far away from each other in space, and the MME detection method can detect correlated signals effectively in most practical applications, therefore, the effect of undetected PUE attack on cooperative spectrum sensing can be mitigated effectively.Without the sparsity information of wideband channels, we focus on the sensing technologies based on compressed sensing (CS), and propose our scheme. In the scheme, the method based on monte carlo and curve fitting is adopted to estimate the actual sparsity, the wideband signals are reconstructed with compressed sensing, and the spectrum occupancy is achieved with the dual-threshold decision rule based energy. Thus, the wideband sensing is realized and the performance is improved.
