With the popularity of real-time streaming media, P2P technology reduces the over-reliance of streaming media transfers on the streaming server and broadband in a certain extent. However, in the large-scale P2P media streaming applications, because of the heterogeneous and distributed clients as well as the different and random behavior, node selection and maintenance become very difficult, which lead the problems of QoS maintenance and scalability.This thesis focuses on the optimization of P2P real-time streaming media signaling protocol. By the research of P2P overlay topology architecture and information model, we analyzed the problems of the current topology and node management mechanism.Aim at solving the topology mismatch problem and nodes tend to fail phenomenon in the P2P streaming media, this paper presents a super-node network topology model. In this model, let some nodes become the super management nodes which have high computing power and high bandwidth. These nodes will finish some tasks like the query, management and others. Because the query messages only spread among the super management nodes, so it can reduce the number of participating nodes, thus effectively reducing the weak node to bring performance bottlenecks, while the presence of a number of super node also reduces the risk of single point of failure.In addition, in the super-node network topology, the super nodes can easily become the bottleneck in the system because some nodes maybe are weak nodes. To address this issue, this paper combined with the characteristics of streaming media system, considering the differences, as well as regional factors such as the ability of nodes in the topology, put the electoral mechanism based on the super-node capacity of the management node, elected from ordinary nodes eligible the node to become a super node, to make it cooperate with other nodes to achieve load balancing among the nodes, thereby enhancing the system's scalability and ability to provide high-quality QoS services. At the same time, in order to combat the super-management node failure brought about by the system instability, we put the deputy super-management node mechanism.Integration of the above questions, it can improve the emerging issues in the P2P network topology building process effectively, so as to establish an effective dynamic topology, the user can be added to the appropriate topology, to provide efficient network security for data transmission work.
