Temperature is one of the crucial factors to evaluate the modern industrial environment, however, it is not convenient to measure the temperature by the wired way in many production environment.In order to solve the problem, a new wireless temperature measurement system based on CC2430 chip was designed in this study.The system adopted Zigbee as the wireless transmission formula, CC2430 chip of TI corporation as the core processor, the microstrip antenna as the tool of the signal transmission, DS18B20 (one of digital temperature sensors) as the temperature collecting device, and Delphi as the programming tools of the upper machine software. The whole system has realized the function as follows:the collecting and monitoring of the multi-points temperature information, the short distance wireless transmission, and remote monitoring of the multi-points temperature information.In this paper, the designing ideas, the implementation methods and the exploitation procedure of the temperature measurement system were described systematically in terms of the system architecture, the design of hardware circuit, the software programming and the design of upper machine management software. In this article, the background and the source of this study, and the development and the current research situation of WSN both at home and abroad were introduced firstly. Then we elaborated the data collection and display, the system architecture, and the software and hardware design method of the wireless transmission formula in detail according to the formula and the needs of the system.And then, the design of the microstrip antenna and the monitoring software was described detailedly.In this study, we focused on the design and simulation of the microstrip antenna as follows:firstly the basic principle of the microstrip antenna was introduced briefly; secondly the operation flow and method of the requirement analysis, parameter calculation, modeling, simulation and optimal matching of the microstrip antenna at frequency of 2.4 GHz were introduced in great detail.At the end of the paper, we introduced the PC monitoring software which was developed with Delphi language, and it could supply users with user-friendly interface, temperature data display fuction, alarms fuction, history query function and so on.Finally, the summary and prospect of this study were given.Based on the results of strict test, it could be concluded that the system is characterized by simple operation and good stability and reliability, and it could satisfied the requirements of the measurement and monitoring of multi-point temperature.Therefore the system has great prospect in the forest region warning, industrial control and other fields.
