This article, with the current mobile device hardware and the development status of geographic environment three-dimension visualization technology as a background, carry out exploratory study of mobile battlefield geographic environment three-dimension visualization. Based on the analysis of characteristics and key technologies of mobile battlefield geographic environment three dimension visualization system, it makes in-depth study on the application mode of system, human-computer interaction design and image data compression, laying the foundations for building mobile battlefield geographic environment visualization system. As follows:1. Based on the mobile cartography theory, this paper analyzes the characteristics of mobile devices and the mobile battlefield geographic environment three-dimension visualization system. And it focuses on the analysis of mobile battlefield geographic environment three-dimension visualization system key technologies, which include data compression, storage and transformation, data organization and visual frustum clip, the integration expression mechanism of information, HCI design, service-based system architecture design and implementation , and system application mode.2. To analysis application status of the US military individual battlefield geographic environment visualization system for foundation, combination our army actual, this paper makes out the application modes of mobile battlefield geographic environment three-dimension visualization system, and discusses the system's structure, features and information expression and so on. Then it focuses on the service mode base on SOA including the client deployment, information circulation way and system model, and puts out the mode is the important development direction of the battlefield geographic environment visualization system.3. It analyzes the current status of those main mobile cartographical information system HCI interaction design, and puts forward the system HCI model and design criteria, based on the statistical data of the HCI interaction design questionnaire survey of the mobile battlefield geographic environment three-dimension visualization system. And it also does the relevant experiments in the prototype system combined with actual condition.4. With the purpose of resulting the strong contradictions between the limit storage space of current mobile device and the requirements for large storage space of the mobile battlefield geographic environment visualization system, this thesis makes out some experiments on these four commonly used image formats, BMP, PNG, JPEG and ETC1 about the image compression ratio, decompression efficiency and the amount of memory occupied, and comes to a conclusion based on the experimental data.5. Design and build a mobile battlefield geographic environment three-dimension visualization prototype system.
