With the development of computer and network technology, multimedia products including video resources can be widely spread. At the same time, the multimedia's illegal piracy and malicious modification also become more and more serious. Therefore, how to protect security and copyright of the digital products effectively become more and more urgent.First in this paper, the author discussed the context and significance about the technology of watermarking. Through the analysis about the research of the digital watermarking at home and abroad, we brought forward the research direction and content in the paper clearly.In order to validate the correction and feasibility of the conclusion, the author put forward the algorithm about robust video watermarking which based on the analysis and research of H.264 standard.For the progress of realizing the algorithm, the author first transformed the binary watermark image into binary sequences with Arnold transform technology, after scanning, the author extended the sequences into new one with broad band, and then embedded the binary watermark sequences into coefficients selected by judgment under certain conditions in all 4×4 sub-blocks of each macro block of I frames in H.264 intra prediction coding stage bit-by-bit. The embedding process has certain adaptability. Watermark extraction does not need to decode compressed bit stream completely, which realizes the blind extraction.In order to prove the feasibility of those theories, we considered developing one tool on the learning plat named"video watermarking processing system based on H.264". The design of the systems are scalable and easy to maintain, meet the current demand for digital product's safe.At the end of the article we summarized the problem occupied in the progress of research and practice. And we discussed the technology about how to enhance the technology of watermarking in the future.
